339 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 reported in Ghana as total case count rise to 12,929

Ghana has recorded 339 new confirmed cases of Covid-19, bringing the country’s case count to 12,929. At a press briefing this morning, the 18th of June 2020, the Director of Public Health at the Ghana Health Service, Mr Badu Sarkodie, highlighted the country’s situation with the global pandemic.

Meanwhile, an additional 58 persons have recovered from the condition, bringing the recovery figure to a total of 4,468. Deaths recorded remain at 66. Active cases currently stand at 8,395. Four persons are reported to be in critical condition and are on ventilators while 14 others are said to be critically ill.

Ashanti Region – 2,403

Western Region – 1,051

Central Region – 732

Eastern Region – 299

Volta Region – 291

Upper East Region – 241

Oti Region – 101

Western North Region – 81

Northern Region – 61

Savannah Region – 37

Upper West Region – 32

Bono East Region – 23

North East Region – 2 B

ono Region – 1

Ahafo Region – 1
