Former Hearts of Oak midfielder, Emmanuel Mintah has revealed that he ended his stay with the Continental Club masters on a mutual contract but didn’t face the sack.
Mintah who joined the Phobians last year saw his contract terminated by the club after failing to impress the technical handlers of the club.
“Accra Hearts of Oak didn’t sack me, it was a mutual agreement. The technical team who took over from Kim Grant didn’t want me in the team.
“The reasons why our football is destroying is that the administrators think they are helping us rather. The late owner of Karela, Senator could have changed things in the football administration. He was always seeking for players welfare. He told Fox Fm.
He added “Am very happy the Ghana Premier League has been cancelled due to the position of my former club Karela United Fc. I felt very bad with the position of the team on the league log.
“I wish all my collegue footballers can take education very serious because it will help you get another job life after football”.
Mintah previously played for several second-tier sides including BA United, Dunkwa United among others.
He made 13 appearances for Karela United during the GFA Normalisation Committee Special Competition.
