Brief profile about the Watch Your Tongue Campaign


Watch Your Tongue (WYT) Is an ongoing educational campaign, cautioning people about the use of the tongue in both verbal and non verbal communication.

WYT campaign is a non partisan, non religious, non sectarian and non governmental with the motto Pleasant Words, Safe World.

WYT Campaign is founded by a serving Police Officer Kwasi Ofori Appiah in 2016 and mandated by the Ghana Police Service to use this campaign to help prevent crime and safeguard humanity.

It was officially launched by Most Rev Prof. Emmanuel Asante of National Peace Council. Special Guests are Hon. Chief of Staff Frema Opare Osei, Mr. Affail Monney GJA president, Rev Dr. Fayose Secretary General of Christian Council, EC Pro Ms Sylvia Annor, Nana Dadeako Pinamang of Obogu Traditional Area, Nana Ama Serwaa Brehene Ampem of Akwamufie Traditional Area, Rep of Nii Botwe Laryea of Nungua Djaasikye, lawyer Kwame Poku-Boah, Accra Region Police Deputy PRO Inspector Danso, Chief Inspector Quarshie, Mr. Osei Korankye of Legon, and other dignitaries.
