Astute Ghanaian broadcast journalist and tourism advocate Dr Abeiku Aggrey Santana has charged the Ghana Tourism Authority to build a statue for her excellency France Ambassador to Ghana Ann Sophie Avé for her astounding and enormous contribution to tourism and the creative arts industry.
Addressing patrons at the nominees unveiling of Ghana Music Awards France held yesterday at the Golden Tulip Hotel, the award winning broadcaster stated,
“There has never been a diplomat who has been very influential in our creative arts industry in our Ghanaian history, she has impacted our creative economy with her unprecedented initiatives and has left an indelible scar in our memories, her achievements which transcends way beyond creative arts and tourism is monumental , she deserves a statue in Ghana “
Her excellency Ann Sophie Avé who was present at the event received a thunderous response from patrons at the ceremony.
The Ghana Music Awards France slated for July 23 in France is focused on merging the two creative economies together through music and the rich display of the Ghanaian culture.
