Reports hitting the waves indicate a rise in Ghana’s current Convid-19 cases. According to a brief held by the Ghana Health Service’s Director, early this morning, the country has recorded an additional 427 new cases. Out of these figures, 272 cases representing 56.98% of the new cases are from the township of Obuasi.
This means, the country’s positive cases now stand at 5,127. However, the service’s Director indicated that about 130 persons are awaiting a second negative test. Should some of these persons test positive, there is a likelihood the cases could rise as reported this morning. Before this, Ghana’s positive cases stood at 4,700.
