A former player and coach of the Accra Hearts of Oak, Mohamed Ahmed Polo has revealed that his own players at Accra hearts Of oak sabotaged him before he exited the club.

The Former Ghanaian international, feels the management of the team influence the players to sabotage his reign as head coach thus the string of bad results achieved.

Polo, was at the helm of coaching at the club during the 2013/14 season, but failed miserably and courted controversy and attacks from fans due to his constant outpour of vitriolics on the teeming followers of the club.

“The players who sabotaged me came to apologize for igniting my sack. They are now finding difficulties in their career because of their sadism”

“I was sabotaged by Hearts players before my sack.The club used the players to sabotage me before my sack”. He told Sikka Fm.

Polo was  a former member of the senior national team the Black Stars that won the 1978 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) hosted by Ghana.

He is considered as one of the legends of Accra Hearts of Oak and Ghana.

Mohammed Polo played for Accra Hearts of Oakfrom 1973 to 1979, before he joined Al Wasl. He returned to the Accra giants in 1985.
