Musiga greater Accra launches national peace project with a mega peace song featuring over 22 musicians


The greater Accra branch of Musiga has launched a mega campaign dubbed “Nation Peace Project” aimed at preaching peace through music ahead of the 2020 general elections.

Music’s role in uniting people from different backgrounds, tribes, cultures, religion, beliefs, races etc can never be underestimated in building a peacefull environment.

Due to this the musicians has taken the mandate upon their shoulders to preach to Ghanaians to help maintain peace before, during and after the 2020 general elections.

On the 23rd day of October 2020, members of Musiga Greater Accra gathered at the Mikado Plaza labone to officially launch the project and also outdoor their official song.

The event that was chaired by the current two aspiring Musiga presidents Ras Caleb Appiah-Levi and Bessa Simmons saw an exemplary display of peace as the two joined forces to ensure the success of the event irrespective of their court disputes.

Several musicians took turns of performances to entertain dignitaries, musicians and the media present at the venue.

Phresh Adam, Joe Wizzy, Togbe Ghana, Asanqoma, Officer KOA, Aluta, Righteous Vandyke, Hajia Police and many more thrilled audience with scintillating perfomances.

It was a great sight to behold when the musicians mounted the stage to perform their peace song, the display of vocal dexterity, telepathy and showmanship proved they are indeed professional musicians.

Co-chairman of the occasion Bessa Simmons in his address advised the General public to put Ghana first in all they do to maintain peace. Ras Caleb Appiah Levi also preached the need for us all to live together in harmony irrespective of our individual difference.

Greater Accra Musiga organiser Joe Wizzy in his address hinted on series of upcoming plans to tour the whole region of Ghana to spread the news of peace ahead of the 2020 general elections.

The event hosted by renowned actor and musician Zimran Clottey popularly known as Aluta ended beautifully with a great applause from the audience.

The event was powered by the kind courtesy of rush energy drink with support from the Ministry of Tourism and the Fisheries Ministry
