Musiga greater Accra (MGA) set to launch peace album ahead of the 2020 general elections


The greater Accra musicians union of Ghana is organising a peace concert to launch an album and also premier a video ahead of the 2020 general elections.

As part of their contribution to instil peace , unity and harmony within Ghana, the musicians has come together to compile an album of peace songs to sensitize the public on the importance of peace in the build up to the 2020 polls.

The peace album is set to be premiered today October 23 2020 has a remixed version of the MGA’ s 2016 peace song with contribution from about 22 musicians.

Musicians including Ras Caleb Appiah-Levi, Gifty Osei, Perppy, Annette D, Joe Wizzy, Goldman, Elivava, Shega Styla etc added their voices.

Other musicians that contributed to the compilation includes, Phresh Adam, Sandy Bee, Waizy Bee, Chizzy Wailer, Ama Nyamewaa, Rebecca Ray, Naphil, Zimran Clottey, Officer KOA, Victoria Bosheba, EK Asante,
Gbana Maa, K Fresh, Rev Veronica, Papa Glory, Authentiq, Aluta, De-servant, Kento, Asanqoma, Young Money, Anumaa, Stammy Gee, Lady Sarah, Piesie Rhythms and SK Original .

The event is scheduled to take off exactly 12pm at the Royal Hall inside Mikado Plaza labone junction with a high expectation of exhilarating performances from various musicians as well as messages of peace.

The greater Accra regional organizer of Musiga Mr Joe Wizzy informed Ghnewz a series of peace events scheduled to take place soon in some selected regions.
