National Early Warning Center to be established in Ghana


A 10-member task force has been set up to draw the modalities and facilitate the establishment of a national early warning center in Ghana.

The purpose of the center will be to warn government of threats to human security, propose the necessary actions and monitor the implementations of responses to the warning that will form a part of a broader efforts by member states of the Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS.

Vice president Mahamudu Bawumia said, a national early warning center will go a long way to help the country after he inaugurated the task force.
