An highly elated Tic took to the podium to give his acceptance speech by thanking organisers for the honor. He also gave thanks and dedicated the award to her mother for the unflinching support and love offered him right at the beginning of his music career,
” it was difficult for a young man to choose music during our time more so to do with rap, it was seen as a wayward venture but my mother will advice me, do not take alcohol, avoid bad company and just concentrate on the music and make me proud, these words from my mum kept resounding in my ears anytime I go out there and that made me what I am today” Tic stated.
The multiple award winner and hitmaker is undoubtedly the first hiplife artiste to cross over to mainstream Nigeria and other African countries with collaboration with Tony Tetuila and other African stars.
